What are GSA sales at Central Auto Auction?

Periodically, the US Government's GSA department replaces vehicles from all branches of the government. These can include cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, almost any vehicle you can imagine. These are usually low mileage, extremely well maintained vehicles and they are available for public purchase!

How much does it cost to buy a GSA vehicle at Central Auto Auction?

There are NO FEES to participate in a GSA vehicle auction at Central Auto Auction!

Is it true I can buy a car for a dollar?

In a word... no! But you can save hundreds, even thousands of dollars over retail on a late model, very well maintained vehicle at a GSA auction at Central Auto Auction!

What are the terms of sale?

Each vehicle will be sold to the highest responsive bidder. GSA Fleet reserves the right to reject any or all bids including bids under which a bidder would take unfair advantage of the Government or other bidders.

Payment may include cash, credit card, cashier's check, credit union cashier's check, traveler's check, postal or commercial money order, and properly endorsed Federal, State, or local government checks.

GSA Fleet offers to the original purchaser that the property listed in the invitation will conform to its description. However, where applicable, manufacturer's warranties are transferable. Purchasers should contact their vehicle's manufacturer to determine whether its warranty remains in force.

When are the GSA sales at Central Auto Auction?

The GSA sales are typically the 3rd Tuesday of a given month and start promptly at 10:15. Please arrive early to register and ask any questions before bidding begins.
All Live auctions will be broadcast using concurrent live broadcast.

How do I sign up?
